Javier will be remembered for his love and passion he had for cooking. His other passion was his cars and trucks that he loved working on. Lastly his favorite pastime was spending time with his whole family when we would all get together in the backyard so he can play his loud music on his speakers for us. He was an incredibly hard and dedicated worker when given a task. He would also go out of his way to help others with a big smile on his face knowing he made a difference in that persons life that day.
Being the only son, Javier is survived by his parents: Juvenal Mendoza and Calene Mendoza; and three sisters: Julia Mercado, Corina Ramirez and Lorena Valdez. Although he had no children, he loved his nephews and only niece as his own: Francisco Mercado, Cassius Mercado, Ethan Mercado, Athena Mercado, Leonardo Ramirez, Enrique Ramirez and Israel Valdez, all who hold a special place in his heart.
Javier leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His presence brought joy and warmth to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by all those who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
A public viewing for Javier will be held on April 6, 2024. There will not be a burial as it was his wishes to be cremated.
COME WITH ME
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you
And whispered, “Come with me.”
With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
A beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.
