complications, on April 15, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 59 years old.
Kristie is survived by husband, William Lilja; children, Will Lilja, Nicholas Lilja, Kelsee and
Philip Cappitelli; By her niece and husband Sheila and Terry Swank, great niece Camden Swank,
and nephew Brent Sleezer. As well as many more family members and friends. She is preceded
in death by her immediate family, parents Viola and Raymond Anderson; siblings, RJ Anderson
and Margo Sleezer.
Kristie was born on June 6, 1963 in Burlington, KS to Viola and Raymond Anderson. She
graduated from Burlington High School and Wichita State. She married William, on December
1, 1989. They lived in Tualatin, Oregon. In 1992 They moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin and
raised their family. Kristie became successful in her work for Prevea Clinic and continued her
success later in her career at HSHS. She mastered the Epic hardware, build and
implementations. Later she branched out to contracting positions for those who needed
resources to install and upgrade the Epic products. In her last 6 years she became a project
manager for large scale upgrades and implementations. While never having a formal college
degree she mastered the most difficult subject matter and inspired many.
Her children remember her as a kind and loving mother who went above and beyond to always
make sure others were happy. She always put her family and friends first even before herself.
She was always known as a giver and she enjoyed giving to others as often as she could. She was
sweet, gentle and she loved with all of her heart. Her motto was “believe”, which she
demonstrated as she raised her children and into their adult lives.
Kristie was passionate about crafting and making new things from old things. She loved a good
DIY project and loved to keep busy with projects. She loved gardening and spending time
outside in the sunshine. She loved to travel to new places and experience the unique attributes of
the location. She was a wonderful cook and often her recipes were constantly changing. She
loved to laugh and enjoy the company of friends and family, always encouraging participation
and laughter.
Kristie did not want a formal funeral service, so with that, we are having a celebration of life
which best reflects her spirit. These celebrations will likely occur in her states of residence; those
details will be provided at a later time.
