Larry R Gutierrez

He was born September 4, 1947 to Alfredo and Dora (Rigales) Gutierrez in Las Cruces, NM. On June 13, 1966 he married Sally Ramos in Phoenix, Arizona

Larry was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all. He worked in construction as a general superintendent overseeing projects all over the country. He was forced into early retirement due to a disability at the age of 55. He enjoyed helping family and friends. He liked fixing things, he was a jack of all trades. He really loved watching his grandchildren compete in sports. He never missed a game. His passion was collecting antiques especially old tractors. In his early years he enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. In his later years he loved playing taxi driver to his grandchildren. His pet peeve was slow drivers and his most prized asset was his hair.

Larry is survived by the mother of his four children; Sally Gutierrez; son Ron (Mary) Gutierrez, daughter Michelle (Roy) Lugo, son Gabriel (Monica) Gutierrez and son Benjamin (Judy) Gutierrez; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 3 Sisters; Gloria (Joe) Contreras, Yolanda Gutierrez, Ernestine “Tina” Gutierrez, 2 Brothers; Alfredo Jr. (Francis) Gutierrez, Louis (Lupita) Gutierrez

Larry was preceded in death by his Father, his brother Jesse Gutierrez, his Sister-in-law Rosie Gutierrez, his Father-in-law Salome Ramos, his mother-in-law Tomasa Ramos, nephews and extended family

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Breakthru Community Church, 8110 W. Peoria Suite 110, Peoria, Arizona 85345

A celebration of life service will be on Monday, April 4th, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Breakthru Community Church, 8110 W. Peoria, suite 110, Peoria, Arizona 85345. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 West Thomas Road, Avondale, Arizona 85392

Reception will be immediately held after the burial service at Roy and Michelle home: 8002 W. Luke Ave, Glendale, Arizona
