Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia, passed away October 26, 2022 at the age of 73, after a long fought battle with cancer. Manuel was a lifelong resident of Tolleson, Arizona. He bravely and honorably served in Vietnam with the United States Army and was proud to serve his country as he was rarely without his Vietnam Veteran baseball cap.

Manuel is survived by his daughter Krista Garcia, son Manuel Garcia Jr and his best friend, mother of his children and 1st wife, Christina C. Garcia. As well as his brothers Martin Garcia, Francisco Sepeda Gonzales and sister Carmen Lopez Nigrette, and his 4 grandchildren and many, many cousins in Arizona and California.

Manuel was preceded in death by his mother Maria Sepeda Garcia, his beloved grandparents Francisco and Pilar Sepeda and his two brothers Benny and Johnny Lopez.

Last but not least his faithful furry companion his cat Cutie Pie who never left his side.

Manuel was the most amazing and loving dad, showing unconditional love always. He was a super cool Tata (grandfather) and an amazing friend to those he has known for a long time or just met. His family is often told how ‘cool’ of a person he was and that we were lucky to have him as a father. He will be missed beyond measure.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that a prayer be made at your local church in his honor or by donating to the American Cancer Society in Manuel’s name.
