He is survived by his children, Sonya Arispe, Teresa Solis, Sylvia Ruiz, Roberto Ruiz, Yesenia Ruiz, Alba Cruz

His 19 Grandchildren, one Great grandchild

His siblings Rudy Ruiz, Sylvia Jankoski and Dora Escamilla

Mariano (Guero) was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to his mother Genevieve Ruiz and father Mariano Ruiz;

He was a very hard worker, he worked for Fry's Distribution for 25+ years.

He valued higher education; it was something extremely important to him.

Guero loved working out, spending time with his children and grandchildren, swimming, traveling to Laughlin with his friends,

barbeques at Estrella, Papago and Pioneer Park. He loved the Holidays and getting together with the family.

He was an intelligent man, someone you can go to for advice and he would give the best advice.

He was courageous and caring.

Funeral Services will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Church on January 2nd from 10:00-12:00 followed by the Holy Cross Cemetery

Mariano really cared about his family; he always wanted everyone to be happy and together.

A visitation for Mariano will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N 93rd Ave, Tolleson, AZ 85353. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 512 N 93rd Ave, Tolleson, AZ 85353. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392.
