Mark Anthony Mendoza Jr., 31, of Phoenix passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2019. "Markie" was born on September 27, 1987 to Lisa Cardenas and Mark Mendoza Sr. He is preceded in death by Tata Mariano Zaragoza. Markie is also survived by Stepdad Jaime Cardenas and "Tata" David; Grandmothers Mary Zaragoza and Vera Mendoza; Sisters Sabrina Cardenas and Jamiee Thomas; Aunt and Godmother Susan Lopez and Judi "Pixie" Zaragoza; many family members, close friends and his forever love, Fiancé Liz Fernandez.
Markie worked as a construction worker (Framer) and coached football at Cortez High School where he graduated. He had a passion for theatrics in which he achieved his Associates, made some films, like to write and sing songs and play his guitar (typically Johnny Cash - The Man in Black). He was also a great barber and an avid Denver Broncos Fan.
Our "Gentle Giant" was a beautiful spirit inside and out and never had an unkind word. He has left a gap in our hearts that will never heal. We loved and adored him but God loved him more.
Rest in Peace, God has you in the Palm of His hand.
