November 10, 1996 – April 18, 2020
Todd James “TJ” Thomas Fiedler, 23, of Phoenix, Arizona, died April 18th, 2020. He was a native of Arizona, born in Phoenix at St. Joseph’s Hospital on November 10th, 1996. TJ attended Westview High School, where he was a part of the football team. He participated in theater productions and NYS football prior to the start of high school. He transferred schools and graduated from Rio Salado High School. He was currently continuing his education at Rio Salado Community College to pursue his associate’s degree. TJ always had a passion to help others and was interested in pursuing a variety of careers in social work, physical therapy, and/or possibly serving in the Navy, like his father.
TJ loved spending time with his family, whether it was fishing at Roosevelt Lake, going on Jeep rides with his father, gathering for special occasions, or spending time in Prescott with his grandparents; family meant the world to him. TJ was a loving, kind-hearted person that would selflessly put other’s needs above his own. TJ enjoyed being an uncle to his nieces and nephew. He was excited for what his future held. He loved life and looked forward to new opportunities ahead of him. He loved to travel and had many great adventures with his family. His smile and his laughter would energize and light up the room. His zest for life and his feisty spirit will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter Fiedler and Louie Wayne Darnell, and his Aunt Charlotte Grissom. He leaves behind his mother, Colleen Fielder, his father, Todd Odell, his grandmothers, Cheryl Fiedler, Cherylle Darnell, his sisters, Brandi Stewart, Danielle Beaudry, Tamara Odell, his step-mother, Nanette Odell. Among the loved ones he also leaves behind are his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and step-siblings.
TJ certainly left this earth way too soon, but his family is comforted in knowing he knew Jesus and will be a guardian angel watching over them. TJ leaves behind a legacy that those who knew and loved him will never forget.
Memorial services will be held for immediate family only on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st at Crystal Rose Funeral Home, Tolleson, Arizona. Virtual services will be available on May 1st via Facebook Live.
