In loving memory of Toribia “Tori” Guzman Soza, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Tori, 84, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 24, 1940, in Cashion, Arizona, where she grew up surrounded by a close-knit family and a strong community that shaped her generous and compassionate spirit throughout her life.
Tori built a beautiful life filled with faith, laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She welcomed everyone with open arms, a kind heart, and a gentle presence that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She began working at an early age in a packing shed, where she met the love of her life and devoted husband, Robert. Their partnership remained a constant source of strength and companionship throughout 58 years of marriage. After beginning their family, Tori paused her work to raise her children before later returning to the workforce, eventually retiring from a career in hospitality. She enjoyed camping, visits to the casino, playing games on her tablet, and—most of all—spending time with her family.
Tori is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her children: Dora (Ted), Patsy, and Robert Jr. (Helen); her 12 grandchildren: Madiecela (Jose), Christina (Aaron), Victoria (Alejandro), Gabriela (Antonio Jr.), Amanda (Adrian), Jacob, Krystal (Alex), Serena, Joey, Tommy, Daniel, Ted Jr. (Alyssa), and her 12 great-grandchildren: Auvriana, Izayah, Izabella, Anissa, Laylah, Antonio III, Adrianna, Alayna, Luciano, Renzo, Emma, and Noah. She also leaves behind her siblings: Federico, Ruben, Frank, Alfred, Florencia, Hilaria, and Rosalinda.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Guzman and Hilaria Acosta Guzman, and her four brothers: Jose, Raymundo, Enrique, and Ernesto.
Tori will always be remembered for her loving and caring heart, her strength and compassion, and for the legacy of love she leaves behind in the generations she nurtured. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family.
May she rest in eternal peace.
