With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Charvel at the age of 85. A famous gifted and respected master guitar builder, he dedicated more than 50 years to crafting exceptional instruments that were played and cherished by musicians around the world.
Beyond his remarkable craftsmanship, he was a devoted father, grandfather, family member, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, integrity, wisdom, and his great sense of humor. His greatest legacy is not only the beautiful guitars he built, but also the love, values, and inspiration he shared with everyone around him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. His impact in the music world, and his loving spirit will live on for generations.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his sons, Michael, Richard, and Robert; his daughter, Jennifer; and his cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Glory and Giana.
