Alfred “Sonny Day” Naudts, 63, of South Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2018, at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born and lived in Paterson, NJ, before moving to So. Toms River thirty years ago. Alfred proudly owned and operated his landscaping business “Sonnys True Cuts” in Toms River. He was a member of the Lacey Elks, and loved animals, especially his faithful companions, Charlie and Sally Brown, his beloved Beagles. He was an avid fisherman and boater who loved the outdoors.
Alfred is survived by his beloved wife Jan (Day) Naudts of 38 wonderful years of marriage, his two brothers: Kevin Naudts and wife Carol, and Jack Naudts, and wife Joan; his sister Colleen Pina, numerous nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. Alfred was a happy, fun loving person, who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23rd, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alfred’s name to Popcorn Park Zoo.
