Alice R. Bruce, age 89 of Bayville passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2012 at Crystal Lake Nursing Home, Bayville. She was in July 29, 1922 to Theodore and Alice Bruce. Born in Trenton, she lived in Trenton and Philadelphia before moving to Island Heights in 1958 then to Bayville in 1995. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1943 with a degree in Anthropology. She had worked for the Library at the University of Pennsylvania. Cremation was private as per her wishes and she will be laid to rest next to her mother at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd. Trenton, NJ. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street was in charge of arrangements.
