Andrew Forte

Andrew Forte, 86, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on November 3, 2015. He was born in Weehawken, NJ, and lived in North Bergen and Piscataway before moving to Toms River thirty years ago. He was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a graduate of Rutgers University. Andrew was a Cost Accountant Manager for CF Mueller Co. of Jersey City, NJ, for 25 years, and for the First National Bank of Toms River. He was a parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr Church in Toms River. Andrew loved fishing, crabbing, and the beach; but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by them.

Andrew was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Margaret (Mansmann) Forte; his first wife Lillian Fazio Forte; and an infant daughter. He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen (Tierney) Forte of 40 years; his five sons: Andrew and his wife Linda of Stroudsburg, PA, Louis and his wife Sharon of Bridgewater, NJ, Douglas and his wife Deanna of Metuchen, NJ, Robert of Washington, DC and Thomas of Toms River. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Richard, Joseph, Meghan, Daniel and Katelyn, and Melissa Zoladkiewicz and her husband Joseph; and his great granddaughter Madison Jane.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 6, from 2-4 and 7-9PM, at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 9:30AM at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fischer Blvd. in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
