Andrew R. Longo

He was born on March 21, 1943, in Newark, NJ, and lived in West Orange and Springfield before settling in Whiting. After attending West Orange High School, he received his hairstyling license from Park Beauty School, and was professionally known as Drew. He and his younger brother, Joseph Longo, Sr., were partners in Joseph Andrews Hair Salon in Springfield, NJ, and Park Salon & Spa in Florham Park. Andrew was a great dancer, took great pride in having beautifully furnished, art-filled homes, loved searching for hidden treasures, and loved his Longo and Germano families and his many, many friends. He will be deeply and truly missed.

Andrew was predeceased by his parents, Alfonso and Mildred Longo, and his sister Rose Rodriquez. He is survived by his sister Katherine Francisco; brothers Michael and wife Gloria; and Joseph Longo, Sr. and partner Mark Rose, and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnephews and nieces, dear friends and loyal clients.

Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, Toms River. A Memorial Service celebrating Andrew's life will be held at a later date.
