Andrew Lookup

Andrew W. Lookup, 53, of Forked River, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, peacefully at home after a four and half year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 14, 1959, Andy grew up and resided in Pine Beach for many years before moving to Forked River 20 years ago. He proudly served his country in the Navy for 4 years. Andy always had a zest for life. He embraced every aspect of his life with passion and enthusiasm; sailing, hockey, mountain biking, bird watching, music, camping, and building cigar box guitars. His fantastic sense of humor kept him positive, energetic, and motivated to live every day to the fullest.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Lookup. Surviving are his beloved wife Megan (Ingram) Lookup; his son Adam; two sisters Janet Dragone and Barbara Williams and her husband Bruce; his nephews Jeff Dragone and his wife Nancy and Mark Dragone and his wife Wendy; niece Beth Delahaij and her husband Gijs; his grandnephews Warner, Thomas and Alex; his mother-in-law Nancy Ingram; brother-in-law Jeff Ingram; and many dear and caring friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an open house to celebrate the life of Andy Lookup on August 5, 2012, Sunday, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Beachwood Community Center, 147 Compass Ave., Beachwood, NJ 08722. Funeral services will be private and under the direction of Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, do something you love with someone you love.
