

Angelito was born in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines on August 7, 1943, to Hipolito and Juliana Narvaez. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines.
Angelito and Lolita were married on June 12, 1971, in New Jersey and had one son Erik. They lived in Jersey City, Haledon, Parsippany and finally settled in retirement in Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Angelito worked as an Art Director for Two Guys, Rickel and finally retired as an Advertising Art Director from Toys R Us in Paramus, NJ. He was also a freelance artist for many companies assisting with their weekly circulars. In his spare time, he would paint at home, using oil on canvas, to capture landscapes and his favorite subject, his wife Lolita. His talents culminated with an exclusive art show at the Consulate General of the Philippines in New York City.
Angelito and Lolita were avid mahjong players spending many weekends playing through the night and days.
Angelito was preceded in death by his parents Hipolito and Juliana Narvaez, his brother Antonio U. Narvaez and his sisters Aida U. Narvaez and Eleanor U. Narvaez.
Angelito is survived by his wife Lolita, his sister Leticia David, his son Erik, Erik’s wife Ruane and his four grandchildren Erik Douglas, Jon Angelito, Cal Brian and EllenMaria Lolita.
A visitation for Angelito will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A funeral mass will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753. Cremation will be private.
