

Ann Flyntz, 80, of Barnegat, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in New York City, she lived in Sparta for many years before moving to Barnegat 11 years ago. Ann was a graduate of William Paterson University. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Brant Beach. Ann loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mary Flynn and her beloved son Edmund in 2016. Surviving are her devoted husband of 58 years John; three children John and his wife June, Kathleen Rabe and her husband Chris and Marguerite King and her husband Terry; her sister Rita Villa and 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Ben, Emily, Robert, John, Kelly, T.J. and Cameron.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, Feb. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Ann will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ. Relatives and Friends may start to gather at church at 11:30 a.m. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities in memory of Ann.
