Tony was a dear friend to me and my son.  He influenced my son to become a law professor early on.  A good man with a great sense of humor, and love for animals and his family.

In the 1950's, the Barcellona's were our Colonia next door neighbors, times of many memories.  Anthony and I graduated from high school the same year, and the last time I saw him was at a high school reunion.  How understanding and compassionate he was with my new status as "divorced".  I knew of his activities with dog shows, some even here in my NH hometown.  Saddened am I to just now learn of his death and of the chances I lost to "be in touch". May you know that even now, months after his passing, your family continues to be held in thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a mentor for me in the schipperke world, and gave me encouragement when I needed it most. I will never forget how kind and selfless he was. I think of him often, and he will be sorely missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I met him while showing dogs.  Tony touched so many people.  He will be dearly missed.

Tony was such a giving person especially when it came to helping the kids with their dogs...such a wise man...and always smiling.  Condolences to Dena and his family.

So very sorry to here about Tony. My sympathies to Dena and your family. Tony was always so much fun at the shows, and always so helpful. So glad I got to see him not too long ago at a show up here.

Roy and I will miss Tony's wonderful presence at the collie shows.  Tony was one of the wonderful collie people that gave his time and attention to our daughter, Cassie.  As a Junior, he was always there  talking to  and supporting  all the kids.  The fact that he worked with kids and loved them was so obvious and special.  I know when Cassie heard of Tony's passing, the tears flowed and I must say it was difficult to comfort her.  He was a big part of her youth, and we are so grateful that he was there! We met Tony when he was showing his Schipperke, Sheba.  Our whole family loved him for years.  Rest in peace and may his family have peace knowing how much he is loved.

It was probably 20 years ago when I met Tony. Back when we would take our dogs to visit patients at nursing homes.  Shortly after we met, I started pet sitting and going to dog shows with he and Dena, and would always cherish the time I got to spend with their wonderful Schipperkes and Collies. In 1996 after my daughter and I were in a bad car accident our families became even closer.  When I got my first show dog ( Spike's daughter), he spent extra time with me helping me turn her into a Champion.  I could go on and on with many stories that he would share riding to and from shows.  Tony was such a great friend the kind of person who was always there when you needed a helping hand, or if you just needed someone to talk to. As I am sure he has been for so
many. It was an honor to have you as a friend, and I will never forget you Tony, and all the fun times we had. Love you, Clare

He was my favorite tuff guy(although he was the biggest sweetest guy around). I'll always treasure that he took such good care of the midwest gal when she moved out to the east coast!!!

Tony and I started with the Woodbridge Police on the exact same day. I will never forget that day when Tony came up to me and said “Hi, I'm Tony Barcellona”. Ever since that day, Tony and I were best friends for 45 years. Not only did we work together at the police department, we also went to college together, and later on, dog shows.  Tony was the best friend a person could have. He was kind, considerate, and compassionate. He was fun to be with, witty, and could tell a good story. I will miss him every day.

It was always great to see Tony when he brought his smooth boys to the dog shows in Canada in recent years. I will miss him. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

To my best friend I love you and miss you greatly We had alot of great trips together. I agree with Chris,  I hope that you are at rest now and are having a big party with all your 4 legged friends.

I will always remember Tony, he was the best friend I ever had in the collie world.  Such a loving, caring and humourous person.  Dena, at least now you know that there is someone there taking care of Belle and all the others.

I know you will be missed by many people and dogs. You where a awesome mentor to anyone who wanted to show. You will be sorely missed. I know you are not missing  single show now!

The world loses another "good guy". Knew Tony when I worked on Rahway PD. he was always available to help out. My condolences to the family.

As much as I will miss you here on Earth, I am happy for the party that must be going on in Heaven with all the Collies and beloved friends that have gone on before you - 4 legged and 2! I will miss you more than you could imagine...

I am saddened by the news of Tony's passing as I had the pleasure of working with him in Juvenile and also playing softball with him.

Tony was a dear and wonderful friend and his kindness and laughter will now light up Heaven...He will forever be in our hearts as will Dena, the Barcellona extended family and his many friends and canine children.  They all have an angel sitting on their shoulder to protect them for eternity.

My condolences to the family.  I worked with Tony.  He was a fun guy.  Best story I remember about him was the foot race he had between he and Ken Philpot.  Neither one of them could get through the story without breaking out in laughter.  Rest in Peace, my friend.

So sorry to hear about Tony. Working with him in juvenile was always a day with laughter and good times. He was a good friend and will be missed.
