

Anthony was born on December 4, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ and later moved to South Jersey where he resided for much of his life. Anthony is remembered as being funny and full of life. He loved to talk, tell jokes and share stories with his family and friends. Anthony enjoyed sports, particularly baseball and football. He loved watching his teams, the Yankees and the Jets and could often be seen wearing his favorite attire, a Yankees shirt or his special Jets jacket.
Anthony is predeceased by his beloved parents, Anthony and Josephine Caruso, mother and father in- law Alice and Al Grieco , two siblings, his sister, Marion Biasi, brother Frank “Butchie” Caruso and brother in-law, Chuck Grieco.
Anthony leaves behind his loving and faithful wife of 60 years, Jacqueline Caruso ( nee Grieco). “Tony and Jackie” met through family in their younger years and were inseparable. Anthony was a devoted husband who truly enjoyed spending time with his wife, eating at the Chinese Buffet or simply sitting side by side reading the newspaper or watching TV.
Anthony is survived by his loving sister, Elizabeth Planz and her husband Robert, brother in-law Lex Grieco and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends who adored him and will always remember “Junior” or “Uncle Tony” for bringing laughter and light to family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all.
The family will have a celebration of life for our beloved “Junior” at a later date.
