Audrey M. Holland

Audrey earned her education in the New York School System.  She earned her diploma from Erasmus Hall High School, in Brooklyn, New York.  

Soon after graduation, Audrey moved to Lakewood NJ.  She was extremely proud and dedicated to work hard in her 30+ years while being employed at: Brockway, Kimball Medical Center, and Harrogate Retirement Community.  Audrey really loved helping others one of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and making everyone feel special.

Audrey was a strong, devoted, and loving mother.  Her biggest pride were her children:  Regina (Gina), Robert, and Franklin (Splinter) who has preceded her in death.  Left to show pride and dedication to her, and to show that her spirit and commitment to life goes on, are her beloved son Tyree.  Grandchildren: Regina, Robert Jr., and Ryan.  Great-Grandchildren: Brianna, Bianca; Indiyah, Celina, Ermanis.  Left to carry on her memory are Lucretia and Charles Dorchy of Beltsville Maryland; Laura S. Reeves of Philadelphia, PA; Ronald E. Savoy of Manchester, NJ; Gregory A. Savoy of Baltimore, MD; and Cheryl E. Savoy, Toms River, NJ.  Including a host of many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Audrey loved her Lord and Savior and accepted salvation at the Sixth Street Baptist Church.  A very hands-on vessel serving on many Ministries.  Audrey served as a member of the Deaconess, Women’s, and Senior’s Ministries; she was a big part of the Missionaries of Angels Mercy board, and a very active Bible Study member, as well.  

Due to God’s will, family members who also preceded Audrey and are held in memory:  Parents, James & Bernice; and siblings:  James Jr. (Jimmy), Denise (Dee-Dee), Yvonne, Thomas, Bernice (Nieccie).

In her final journey, time had taken its toll and she stayed strong to her faith, but all things must end to begin again.  

Audrey was a very special person and will be greatly missed!

A Celebration service will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the 6th Street Baptist Church, 15 6th Street, Lakewood, NJ.  Following services, the burial is scheduled for 1:00PM and will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Bridge Avenue, Lakewood.

Arrangements were entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ.
