Barbara Duey

Barbara  (Missy) Duey, age 69, of Berkeley Township passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her home.  She was born August 28, 1952 in Richmond Virginia.  Barbara graduated from Central Michigan University and then Florida State University with a Masters degree in Psychology.  

She was employed as a Hardware support specialist for Hewett Packard and retired in 2013.  She enjoyed golfing with her partner Barb.

Barbara loved gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels.  She also loved photography, especially photographing flowers, sunrises, sunsets on the ocean and lighthouses.  

She is predeceased by her parents Robert Duey and Nancy Bloom Duey.  Barbara is survived by her partner of 39 years,  Barbara Udodow of Toms River; her brothers, Von Duey Jr. and his wife Patty, of Templeton, Mass, Randy Duey of North Carolina and Jimmy  Duey of Brick, NJ; her Niece, Nikki Duey and Nephew Bobby Duey of Mass.  

Missy was a soft spoken gentle soul who will be missed by many.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9-11 AM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ.

Masks are required in the funeral home.
