Bernice Fletcher

Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Fletcher lived in Monmouth County for many years before settling in the Toms River area.

Before her retirement in 2005, she worked in sales for most of her career, most recently for the Asbury Park Press.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert, in 2004, and her son, Dominick Testa, in 2010.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Carchietta and her husband Gary of Manchester, Joseph Testa and his wife Karen of Keller, TX, Edward Testa and his wife Carmen of Lakewood; Anthony Testa and his wife Angelina of Toms River, John Testa and his wife Tracey of Manchester, and Eric Testa of Manalapan; her sister, Sandra Pakolinski of Philadelphia;

her grandchildren; Alicia Carchietta, Vinny Carchietta, Melissa Carchietta, Christian Carchietta, Michael Testa, Michelle Testa, Steven Testa and his fiance Lisa Nuenberg, Dominic Testa, Stefanie Testa, Nancy Testa, Giovanni Testa, Jordon Testa, Lillie Testa, Jessica Testa, Joey Testa, Anthony Testa, Keira Rudd and Kevin Gronwaldt and her great-grandchildren; Jacob Shar, Kevin Mercer, William Meadows, Ryan Morton, Joey Carchietta, Alyssa Testa, Ryan Testa, Tianna, Peyton Testa, Kaydom Testa, Mia Testa, Ava Grace Farace and Violet Rose Fitzgerald.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.

Prayer service will be held on Friday evening at 8:30pm at the funeral home.

The family will meet on Saturday morning at 9:30 am at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, for committal prayers and entombment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be make in Bernice's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
