
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a longtime shore resident.
Betty was a 1942 graduate of Toms River High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was a school crossing guard for the Dover Township Police Department for many years.
An avid bowler, she was a member of the Ocean County Women's Bowling Association, and was a 60 year member of the Bowling Hall of Fame.
She enjoyed gardening, and was a longtime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and enjoyed watching their 2018 Super Bowl win.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Miller, Shirley Miller, and Lorraine Carson and her husband Steve; her grandchildren, Kimberle Samarelli, Danielle Quinn and her husband Ryan, Ashlee LaCicero and her husband Christian, and Tom King and his wife Christin; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha and James Samarelli, Declan and Shane Quinn, Evan and Liam King, and Christian W. LaCicero.
Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Popcorn Park Zoo are appreciated.
