

Bradford D. Bromley, age 81, of Toms River, passed away at his much-loved home on April 1,2024 with his loving wife, Madelyn, at his side. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before retiring to Toms River in 2015, he lived in Emerson and River Edge.
Brad was a combat photographer in Vietnam. He loved photography and had some of his work published capturing the war. Brad was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroism, and outstanding achievement. Brad spent many days enjoying Lavallette, sitting on the porch with his beloved dog, Dana, often reminiscing about beach days as a young boy and fishing trips.
Brad is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ruth Bromley; his brother, Henry; and sister, Margery.
Brad is survived by his wife, Madelyn; son, Christopher Bromley; and grandson, Simon Bromley. Also survived by his stepchildren, Rhonda Gallone and her husband Edward and Edward the 3rd; Anthony Castronova and his children Gina and Aj Jr. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and friend Linda LaRosa. The three were seldom apart. Brad leaves his sister Rosemary (Jim), brothers Rodger and Peter (Kathy), sister in law, Pat; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Brad will be greatly missed by all who loved him dearly. A brave strong man who will be remembered for his courage and perseverance as he battled many medical issues.
