Growing up, Brian loved sports, and was an avid baseball player. He attended Toms River High School South, and graduated in 2002. Brian served in the United States Marine Corps, as an electrician, and was honorably discharged in 2009. He was a firefighter for Toms River Volunteer Fire Company #1, proudly serving the citizens of Toms River. Brian received his Bachelor of Criminal Justice Degree from University of Colorado.
In 2013, he became a public insurance adjuster for Andrew K. Knox and Company. After 4 years, he became an independent adjuster for several carriers. He worked tirelessly day and night to help homeowners in their time of need.
Brian brought happiness to everyone he knew. He was dependable, and would drop anything to help a friend. His passion for life was infectious. As an avid boater, he enjoyed spending his time on the water and hanging out in the bay. He loved music and enjoyed playing the drums. Brian loved, and was loved fiercely. He always found the humor in any situation, and was the light in the dark.
Brian is predeceased by his mother, Lynn Pancza, who passed away in 2021. He is survived by his fiancée, Kate Heck, Walter & Susan Heck, Andrew Heck and his fiancée Jenn Humphries, Brian’s father, Lawrence Pancza, a brother Greg & his wife Jennifer, and their children Riley and Kiersten, a sister Laura Palagonia and countless friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening at 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
