Brian M. Weithenauer, 19, of Toms River, passed away from a fall on Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Morgantown, W. Va. He was born and raised in Toms River and graduated from Toms River South High School in 2010, where he played football. Brian was a sophomore at West Virginia University majoring in business and a member of the Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) fraternity. Spending time with his family and many friends is truly what he enjoyed. Brian also loved music, as a musician he played the electric and acoustic guitars. During breaks from school he worked with his father at Irrigation Experts.
He was predeceased by his grandfather John Weithenauer. Surviving are his loving parents John and Dianne (Koerner) Weithenauer; his cherished brother Michael; his paternal grandmother Dorothy Weithenauer of Toms River; his maternal grandparents Joan and Lawrence Koerner of Toms River; and many caring uncles, aunts and cousins; also many friends here and in West Virginia. Brian’s infectious smile, warmth and easy going demeanor touched many people in his life and he will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
