Brunilda Hernandez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brunilda Hernandez, a beloved and devoted daughter, Mother, grandmother and yes great grandmother, who left this world on January 11th, 2025 after a relentless and courageous battle with kidney and coronary disease. Known to many as Bruni or Monin for her infectious cackling laughter and unwavering friendship.

Brunilda was a sweet soul, always ready and willing to lend a helping hand, especially in the kitchen. But was also a Lioness force to reckon with when it came to defending and protecting her family and friends. She loved her crossword puzzles at times completing an entire book in one day.

She is survived by her three loving children, Cristino Rentas Jr., Brunilda Carrasquillo ( better known as, "Chiqui") and Milca Gonzalez. Along with them she is also survived by her grandchildren, Cristino Rentas 5th, Mickey Gonzalez, Linnette Garcia, Jasmine Carrasquillo, Mia Marie Rentas, Jayden Joyner and her great grandson Kyler Cris Rentas. She is also survived by her oldest brother Rigoberto Beltran, sister Leonides Beltran and Ada Rodriguez.

A visitation for Brunilda will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. Cremation will be private.
