Cappy was born March 10, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York where he lived for 78 years until moving to Brick, New Jersey in 2015.
Cap was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served his country proudly in Korea. Cappy was a school bus driver for ATU Local #1181 for 30 years. He loved playing softball with his brother and his sons, he was a die hard NY Yankees fan, an avid Bacci ball player and he really enjoyed sitting by the bay crabbing and listening to his doo-wop music, but nothing made him happier than being with the love of his life, his wife of 58 1/2 years, Gloria, his three sons: Anthony, Vincent and Michael, daughters-in-law: Donna, Desiree and Iris - whom he considered “his girls”, The lights of his life - his five Grandchildren: Carissa, Vincent, Anthony, Derrick and Michael, and his Grand-dog Logan. Above all else, Cappy loved spending time with his Family.
Cappy was truly a one of a kind man, with a larger than life personality and an even bigger heart. The words kind, loving, funny, caring, giving, smart, hardworking and honest hardly seem to be enough to describe the kind of man he was. Cappy was the kind of man, Husband, Father, Father-in-law, Poppi, Brother, Brother-in-law, and Uncle that you could always count on, for whatever someone needed whether it was a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, sound advice or just big smile and a good laugh. Anyone having had the pleasure of knowing him and having him in their lives would agree that they were blessed for having known him and the world was a better place just by having him in it.
Cappy is survived by his wife of 58 1/2 years, Gloria , His sons, Anthony & wife Donna -Vincent & wife Desiree and grandchildren Vincent, Anthony & Derrick - Michael & wife Iris and grandchildren Carissa & Michael.
His sisters Ceil Chiarelli & husband Rudy, Kathy Delfino & husband Anthony, Rose Jordan & late husband Richie , a brother Leo Ventra & wife Katie, a sister-in-law Marie Pratico and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews all of whom he loved dearly.
Cappy was and will always be loved beyond all measure and will always be missed beyond all words.

God's Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone…
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
