Born in Montclair, she lived in Clifton for many years before moving to Toms River over 50 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1995, Mrs. Cassidy was a medical assistant for Dr. Park and Dr. Rana in Toms River.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, George; her children, George Cassidy III and his wife Mary of Beachwood, Kimberly Frazee and her husband Frank of Forked River, and Ryan Cassidy and his wife Nicki of Toms River; her grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Jacqueline, Alexis, Caroline and Paige; and her sister, Jean Steinberg of Port Richey, FL.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Pius X RC Church, 300 Lacy Road, Forked River.
