Born April 20,1947, Carol was the first child of Michael and Irene Fiorelli in Cleveland, OH. She spent her early childhood in Japan and subsequently in various Army bases in the US and Germany. After graduating Monmouth high school in New Jersey, Carol went to Kansas State University and earned a masters degree in Biochemistry. She and her husband, Telly Lekacos, a surgeon, moved to Monmouth NJ where Carol became the Lab Supervisor at Monmouth Hospital.
Carol was a strong, independent woman, capable of making decisions about how she wanted to live her live with courage and conviction.
Carol and Telly had many wonderful adventures, traveled extensively and enjoyed their lives together.
Carol had three siblings, Nicole Tuck (deceased); and is survived by her brothers Chuck and Walter Fiorelli; along with nephews, John Tuck with his wife Susan, and Matthew Tuck.
The family will be holding private memorial services.
