Carol Lombardi

Carol Lombardi, 89, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on August 9, 2015. She was born in Hackensack, NJ, and lived there for many years until moving to Toms River 52 years ago. Carol worked for the Hackensack School System for over 15 years as personal secretary to the principal. She was a former Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, and volunteer secretary at St. Justin Parish. She was also a member of St. Joseph Parish, and Toms River Women’s Club, and a volunteer at Community Medical Center. Carol was a wonderful baker and a gracious hostess.

Carol is survived by her loving husband Floyd Lombardi to whom she was married 54 years; her sister-in-law Ann Osborne; her brother-in-law Emil Lombardi and his wife Eileen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 13th, from 4 to 8PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Visitation will also be Friday morning from 9 to 9:30AM. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 10AM at St. Joseph Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River.
