Catherine D’Acunti, 91, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on May 15, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Englewood, NJ, raised her family in East Orange, and lived many places, including Lake Hopatcong and Beachwood, before settling in Bayville. Catherine was a happy, fun loving, family orientated person, devoted to her husband and family. She loved to cook and bake and created wonderful memories for her grandchildren.
Catherine was pre deceased by her son Theodore and her nine siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband Dominick of 70 years; her twin daughters: Josephine Vasko and her husband Michael of Austin, TX, and Elizabeth Martin and her husband Randall of Bayville; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, from 2-4 and 7-9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. There will be a Service at the funeral home on Thursday at 10AM. Burial will be immediately following at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
