Cathleen Ellen Turi

Cathie graduated from Toms River High School South in 1980. Following graduation, she worked for the Toms River Regional School District in their transportation department. Later she attended the Star Academy where she became a Certified Medical Assistant. Recently she had worked as a covid contact tracer for the Ocean County Board of Health.

She was predeceased by her father, Leonard and is survived by her mother Carole. She is also survived by her sister Susan and brother-in-law Vincent Guida, her precious nieces, Melissa Lauren and Amanda Carole Guida and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cathie loved spending time with her family and friends. She had the great ability to make friends everywhere she went. She also never met an animal she did not like. Her furry friends especially Checkmate is missing her too.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with a service at 3:30pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. Cremation is private.

Cathie’s final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery alongside her beloved father whom she adored. Burial will be private at a later date. Rest in peace dear Cathie you will forever be in our hearts.
