Born in Jersey City, he lived in Middletown for many years before settling in Manchester in 2015.
Prior to becoming disabled, he was the owner of Pizza And, Hazlet, for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mary; his children, Mary Ellen Brucato-Awad and her husband Chris of Lincoln Park, Charles Brucato III of Toms River, and Daniel Brucato of Hawthorne; and one grandson, Adam Awad.
Services were private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
