Charles Aaron Burke (Chuck), passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 83 years old. Born on December 4, 1942, Chuck lived a life defined by craftsmanship, music, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
A master carpenter and gifted woodworker, Chuck could build just about anything he set his mind to—from intricate carvings and fine furniture, to entire homes that stood as lasting testaments to his skill and dedication. His hands were rarely still, always busy shaping, fixing, or creating something new.
Outside the workshop, Chuck found joy in music as a bass player in country and bluegrass bands, sharing his talent and love of rhythm with others. He also had a passion for restoring and building cars, including his beloved Oldsmobile 442 and Willys Jeep.
Chuck shared his greatest adventures with his wife Joyce, restoring campers and traveling out west together, fulfilling a lifelong dream. He found peace in the outdoors—whether fishing, hunting, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of nature.
He was known for his strong work ethic, his creativity, and his ability to fix just about anything—but also for his well-earned love of a good nap.
Chuck will be remembered for the life he built with his hands, the music he shared, and the memories he created with those he loved.
