Charles "Chuck" Conway

Charles “Chuck” David Conway, age 72, of Middletown, NY passed away on July 25, 2019. The son of the late John T. and Ella A. Howe Conway, he was born in Newburgh, NY on March 29, 1947. An alumnus of Marist College and New York University, Charles continued on to study at Rutgers University and New York University, earning his Juris Doctor and Master of Law, respectively, both with honors. Charles practiced law throughout his career.

For much of his life he was an avid runner, skier, and sailor. He also enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time on the beach in Long Beach Island.

Charles was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jason Conway.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Kate Conway, brothers, John Conway (Janie Favoino) and Timothy Conway (Alice), nieces and nephews. Charles will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home at 703 Main St. in Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Chapel, 433 South Plank Rd., Newburgh, NY. Burial of Ashes will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers for Charles, donations may be made in his name to the Leukemia Research Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
