Claudia M Frederick

Claudia was born in Cuthbert, Georgia to the late, Lillie B. Hightower and Claude Hightower.

Claudia was the eldest sister of her three brothers, (William, Robert, Jimmy) and four stepbrothers and a sister.

Claudia married the late, Ulyssee Frederick in Howell NJ, and from that union they had three children; Ulyssee Frederick Jr., married to Michelle, Shondell L. Frederick married to George Matthews, and Nichele J. Frederick married to Kathleen (Katie)Burdge. Claudia also was an amazing grandmother (Bobbie) to her grandchildren, Yulissa, Ulyssee III, Kaden (deceased), Shawn, and Terrence. She also adored her great grandchildren, Janiyah, Aaliyah, and Iyanna Keys. She always believed family came first

She graduated from Howell High School in Howell NJ. Worked at the Earl Naval Base, township of Howell as a Secretary, the Brochway Glass Company in Freehold NJ and a bus driver for Freehold Regional High School.

She later married Franklin L. Hodges Scott (Deceased) and they resided in Whiting NJ. They enjoyed traveling together. She enjoyed going to the casino, English town auctions and Columbus auction.

Claudia will greatly be missed by a host of family and friends.

A memorial service for Claudia will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
