Constance M. Riccardi

Constance Harpe Riccardi, 91, of Toms River passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Connie was a loving and loyal mother, mom mom, aunt, sister and friend. Connie was a member of St. Joseph's Parish where she attended mass daily with her best friend, constant companion, and loving sister, Dotti Riccardi. After mass her circle of friends enjoyed breakfast together at local restaurants including C & G, Wolfie's, Perkins, Silverton and Toms River Diners. She loved to reminisce about the "Toms River" she grew up in. She enjoyed her Sudoko game and was admired for her beautiful crocheting and knitting.

She is predeceased by her husband, Nelson Riccardi, (August 26th, 2000), the love of her life and childhood sweetheart. Connie and Nelson treasured 59 years of a "Marriage made in Heaven." She is also predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Andrew Riccardi and Stuart Christie. She said good-bye on March 24th, 2013, to her 12 yr old sweet toy poodle, Colee. Surviving are her children, Nelson Riccardi Jr. and his wife, Barbara, Diane Delia and her husband, Frank; her grandchildren, Melissa Longo and her husband Joey, Nelson Riccardi III and his fiance Jen, Frank Delia, Anthony Delia, Nikki Holt and her husband Kevin; her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Sophia and Anthony Longo, Olivia Riccardi, Aiden and Lucia Holt; her siblings, Dotti Riccardi, Reet Chrisite, Forest "Bud" Harpe, Barbara Poli, and Bernadette Vanderberg and many nieces and nephews, all of who she cherished and loved dearly.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
