

Dave is survived by his wife, Debra Brown (Point Pleasant, NJ), his brother Frank Brown (Redmond, OR), his sister Margaret Wells (Toms River, NJ), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his father Frank Brown, his mother Dorothy Brown (24th Ave. South Seaside Park, NJ), and his two brothers, Michael Brown (West Palm Beach, FL) and Robert “Sparky” Brown (Bayville, NJ).
Throughout his life he enjoyed surfing which he started at a very young age (the 24th Avenue “local”), fishing, boating, Island Beach State Park, going to Atlantic City, travelling, and most importantly, being with family and friends. Dave loved music, and he was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Dave was a chef for many years at the Berkeley Seafood Restaurant (South Seaside Park, NJ), but his main expertise was as a “master carpenter” and as a perfectionist, he always said “it has be tight and right”.
Visitation will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2:00pm until the Blessing Service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude’s Children Hospital would be appreciated.
Dave will forever remain in our hearts and cherished by his family, his friends, and all who knew him.
