
David Sheldon, 76 years old, of Toms River, NJ passed away on February 29th, 2024, after a gradual decline in health, in the comfort of his son and cousin’s presence. His family is profoundly saddened.
David was born October 8, 1947 in Belleville, NJ to parents Patricia and Charles Sheldon. He was the second of five children: Robert; Judy; Janice; and Steven. Dave spent over 4 decades dedicated to Crest Foam Industries as a foam line manager. After retiring, he moved to Toms River where he loved spending his time going camping, fishing, boating, traveling, and enjoying time with his family and friends. Other hobbies included making custom fishing rods, and woodworking- creating elaborate bowls and pens. Dave was a handyman and good at his craft.
He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Dave is survived by his three children: David; Dawn; and Gayle (Regalia). David and Dawn’s mother: Patricia. His four grandchildren; Anthony; Brayden; Brooklyn; and Josh (Regalia); Great granddaughter Emma (Regalia); and two other grandchildren whom are deceased: Matthew (Regalia); and Christopher (Regalia).
Dave loved living life to the fullest and never held back on anything, always persevering.
