Diane Claire Furia

Diane was born in Newark, moving to Toms River in 1978. Before her marriage to Carl she worked as a dental assistant for many years in Montclair upon moving to Toms River. She became a caretaker for the elderly and took care of them like they were her family. Diane was a great lover of animals, especially dogs. She cared for and saved so many during her life.

Diane had a big and loving heart. She had a caring way that was so genuine, always giving good advice and love from her heart. Diane touched the lives of many with her beautiful eyes and smile. She would always make us laugh with her quirky remarks.

She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and wonderful friend to many.

Diane was predeceased by her parents Jean and William Benn; sister, Gail Marie Nicholson and her beloved son, William Justin Furia.

She is survived by her loving husband Carl, loving son Jordan Spohr-Mehyar and his partner Matthew Nocifore, Nieces Lynn Haggan and Tarah Bird, many good friends and her furry children Jack, Dillon, Pippa and Scooter.

Diane touched the lives of many and will truly be missed by all who loved her.

A bright light has been dimmed today but will shine brightly in our hearts forever.

Donations made in honor of Diane may be made to a local ASPCA.

Cremation services were privately held for Diane at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River.
