Domingo Malave, 81, of Manchester transitioned into his heavenly rest on Monday, May 26, 2014. A native of Las Piedras, Puerto Rico and resident of New York City for many years, Domingo was a Medical Technologist with the US Veterans Administration. He was also a Church Elder and involved in Pastoral Care.
Malave was predeceased by his beloved wife Dolores (nee Cortes) Malave and is survived by his children: Ivette, Ruben, Shirley and Steven (Beth); grandchildren: Jonathan, Daniel, Marisa, Robert and Christopher.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A private family committal will be held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org) in Domingo’s memory
