Donna Lee Clayton

She was born in Long Branch, NJ on March 23, 1959. Donna was the oldest of 5 children, born to the late Frank and Minnie Kopec. She was primarily a stay-at-home mother until she found her calling in the healthcare industry, taking care of others was a passion of hers. Donna loved music, playing cards, and the beach. Donna found joy in the simple things in life and enjoyed being with her friends and family.

Donna is predeceased by her loving parents, Frank and Minnie; her sister, Lisa; her brother, Frank; and her sister-in-law, Diana.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, William and Nichole Clayton, Paul Clayton and Lacy Soden, Kim Chertowsky, and Eric Clayton.

Donna was a grandmother to 17 amazing grandchildren and a great grandmother to 3 more. Donna is also survived by her brother, Richard Kopec and his wife Regina; her sister-in-law, Betty Jo Kopec; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Warren Saupe.

A visitation will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ, 08755, on February 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
