

Donna P. Warren, 73, of Manchester passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, after a brief illness. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she moved to North Carolina in 1963 and lived there until moving to Neptune in 1986. She settled in Manchester in 2002.
For the past twenty-five years Donna has been a College Professor teaching Computer Network Engineering, Math, and related Sciences, most recently at Salem County Community College. A Harley Davidson enthusiast, she rode until her early 70’s and was active with Spokes-Women (Female MotorcycleRiders Group) and HOG (Harley Owners Group).Donna was the Co-Founder and President of the Philadelphia based “Living Without Lies”, a non-profit organization dedicated to enabling battered women to escape their captive situations. In addition, she hosted a weekly radio-show in support of Living Without Lies on Big Bold Media. She loved spending time with her family, and was always the first person to arrive at every party, and the last person to leave.
She is survived by her sons, Ray Lawson and his wife Adrienne of Toms River, and Adam Warren and his wife Bernadette of Manchester; her grandchildren, Gage, Alyssa, Amir, Anyiah, and Aiyanna; and her great-grandchildren, Ezra, Lucina, and Nanako.
A private cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A party celebrating Donna’s life is being planned, and details will be announced when completed.
