

Doris C. Taylor, 82, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. Born in Union City, she lived in Toms River and Manchester for many years before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2002. Doris was employed by Garden State Rehab, now known as Health South in Toms River for 16 years in housekeeping before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Seaside Heights. Doris enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, volunteering, raising foster children and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony E. Taylor, in 1992. Surviving are her loving children, Richard Taylor and his wife Alina of Manchester, Kerry Taylor of Little Egg Harbor, Linda Taylor of Conover, N.C., Bonnie Lynn Nichols and her husband Larry of Connelly Springs, N.C., and Lisa Ann Taylor; a brother, Albert Saldarini of Nutley; a sister, Joan Rufo of Deltona, Fla.; six grandchildren, Tara, Holly, Robert, Julianne, Taylor and Justin; and a great-grandson, Cody.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 19 at St. Barnabas Church, Bayville. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
