He graduated from Toms River South in 1972 and graduated Lincoln Tech in 1974. Douglas worked as a part of the family business running the Chatterbox Bar in Seaside Heights, NJ for many years. Douglas lived his life to the fullest. He embraced the opportunity that every day gave him. To know him was to love him. While he was mild mannered and soft spoken, he had the ability to always put things in perspective and gave the best advice when needed. His smile was contagious. It was rare to leave an interaction with him without a smile on your face.
He loved his family fiercely. He was always there to lend a hand to not only his friends and family but anyone in need. As a young child, he developed a love of the water and never missed an opportunity to enjoy the ocean. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and also loved RC car racing, scuba diving and cooking. Heaven has gained an angel and the world has lost a genuinely fantastic human being.
