Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Edmund moved to Garwood as a teenager, and then to Cranford where he raised his family. Edmund and Amelia had a home in Piscataway before settling down in Toms River in 2018.
Edmund was a proud baseball coach and enjoyed coaching his son. He was an amazing athlete that many scouts had their eyes on, and had the best curveball out there. He was a member of the golf club and enjoyed horse racing and going to the casino. He loved being in nature and feeding the animals. Edmund worked at Xerox before moving on to be a buyer and seller at Purolator Oil. In his “retired” years he worked for Graver Water.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Katherine, his brothers Charles and John, and his son in law Edward Woj.
Edmund is survived by his loving partner of 39 years Amelia, daughter Cheryl Woj and partner John, son Edmund Jr. and wife Lorraine, grandchildren Lindsey, Melanie, Eddie J. Burke III, Brianna, and Matthew.
Per Edmund’s wishes, services will be private.
