

Edward Henry Fernandez Sr., 88, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away at his daughter’s home in Beachwood, NJ, on April 26, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bayonne, NJ, and lived in Beachwood before retiring to Ft. Pierce, Florida. He owned and operated Lionel’s TV Repair Service in Toms River, later working at Community Medical Center in Toms River as a Biomedical Engineer.
Edward enjoyed community life in Spanish Lakes Country Club Village and also spent many hours enjoying his passion for golf at Indian Pines Golf Club, Ft. Pierce.
Edward was a member of the First Church of God, Vero Beach, Florida. He was a life member of the Beachwood First Aid Squad, and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beachwood, NJ. He was active in Beachwood Little League and served our country in the Merchant Marines.
Edward was predeceased in death by his four brothers and three sisters, and his son Clifton P. Fernandez. Surviving is his wife Daisy M. (Faser) of 69 years; two sons: Edward H. Fernandez Jr. and wife Lauretta, and Kenneth R. Fernandez and wife Elaine; his daughter Patricia A. Driscoll and husband William. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 17th, 2018, at 11AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beachwood.
