I love you Poppop. I am me because of you...it’s really that simple. Music and singing became a huge part of my life because of you. I remember watching you play piano, guitar, and sing. I was so mesmerized by your love and appreciation for music. I thought “Man, I would love to play and sing” and you helped me along. You helped me pick out a guitar and learn it. You were a true musician, a true work of art. You were the first one to take me driving when I got my permit. Something so scary as a teenager, now a thing I do everyday without thought. The things my grandpa loved were the joys he instilled in me and I am incredibly grateful for that. You were a joy and a jokester. There to make me laugh but always there to lift me up when the world was weighing me down. You always believed in me, you made me. Rest in the arms of Jesus, forever in our hearts ❤️😇

Edward, although I did not know you personally, I feel that I know you- at least slightly-through your wonderful granddaughter Jamela. Jamela's love and passion for music lives on because of your inspiration upon her. This is a legacy that you have left and it lives on. My sincerest appreciation is expressed to you . Your love for music has brought unmeasurable happiness to myself, my family and to hundreds of others that we do not know because Jamela has brought your inspiration and your love of music to the Christmas carolling trio that she, Brienna and I became. Jamela has always credited you for her ability to sing and to perform music. For that I honor you.
To the family and friends of the dearly departed Edward, I send to you my appreciation for the man and my sincerest condolences for your loss. But remember although Edward may not physically be with you I am certain that he has left inspiration, love, traditions and other gifts that you will have for the rest of your lives. In this way he lives on through each one of you. God Bless You.
