.Elizabeth Rowley Bayles, 89, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Hamilton Township, NJ, she has resided in Toms River since 1957. Elizabeth retired from Ocean County Office of the Administrator as a secretary after ten years of employment. She enjoyed bird watching, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband William in 1966, her parents William and Violet (Brownfield) Rowley, her brother William and her sister Virginia. Surviving are her son William Mark Bayles of Toms River and daughter Elizabeth B. Smith of Toms River; two grandchildren Frederick William and Kathryn Samantha; and her cherished great grandchildren Brooklyn and Jake and one on the way.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Anderson and Campbell at 9:30 a.m. on Friday to get ready to go to Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Twp. for a Committal Service.
