Met Liz through my brother in law at JR's and she just had such a positive energy always happy. Always looked forward to seeing her every time we'd be at the beach. She was a positive ray of sunshine. The beach and boardwalk will never be the same. Rest in peace, till we meet again

LIZ, You were so awesome. You made your family mine and my family was yours. Though my 3 older kids were little when we were neighbors. They were blessed to have you in there lives. Though i wasnt really bar material. I would come into JRs or The Sawmill to visit and sponge a free soda. I hope my kids saw how i regarded you as family. You are truly one of a kind and it was luck for this staten islander to know you. Have fun with Mooser, Say hello to jim for me. I will alwayx keep your mom in my thoughts. Love You like a sister. We will never forget you. Love Tommy

I met Liz little over 5 years ago at the Sawmill. We would talk for hours over those cold winters at the bar as she got me caught up with all the new & cool things the boardwalk area was doing-she loved her backyard & it showed. She loved the summer and the people who came. She Smiled whenever you came in & was super nice to my kids who worked with her. It just won’t be the same without her around . She will be missed by All.
Prayers to her family from the Bruno family💐

My heart goes out to Ma Brown, Scott, Debbie and all your loved ones. Though we haven’t kept in touch for awhile, you are forever in my heart and I’m so grateful to have known you. When I moved back from FL all those years ago and life was hard, you were there. You brightened things, helped me in so many ways and were the truest friend. I’ve spent the last 24 hours thinking about all the crazy times you, Debi, Rachel and I had. I always admired your strength, sense of humor, loyalty and beautiful, sunny spirit. Rest in Love my dear friend, you will be so missed. Thank you for all your love, kindness and friendship❤️ Karol

Extending our deepest sympathy to The Brown Family & Steve. We met Liz 6 years ago when we moved here from up north. Liz made The Sawmill our place to go. She was engaging, interesting, a dedicated hard worker and ultimately a warrior to the end. Liz will be missed but I know that every time we sit on one of those chairs at The Sawmill, her spirit will be with us. Rest easy sweet Liz. Fondly, Angela & Angel Rivera
